"I must say WOW!!! I have been .NET developer for years now professionally and most of my private web site coding I have been doing in PHP mostly because hosting for ASP.NET was very expensive. Now that there are so many companies outthere I decided to start coding my private applications in .NET too. I have went to 2 hosting .NET companies who said they provide excellent service, easy set up and everything. Oh Boy, was I wrong. I was trying for days to get the domain name set up, database to work, and I never got it initially to be restored or anything. So forget about those hosting companies... I have found WinHost and said I wanted to give it a try. In less than 30 minutes I was able to set up EVERYTHING!!! Without a help from anybody, their system and control panel are so simple and their knowledge base is so good that I had no problems doing everything I needed. Only worked on the site for 2 hours and everything is ready to go. Great service so far, great control panel. I will test it to see how it works for some time, and I will probably need to upgrade to the bigger package. Great job!!! Keep it up like that. "

"Wow! Just... Wow... I have been doing web development for over a decade and have probably set up over a thousand sites on just about everything and in every flavor during those years. Setting up a website and database with your web management interface is the 100% best experience I have ever had doing that chore! So good in fact, I'm going to swipe a couple of your ideas for our intranet... imitation is the finest form of flattery! ... I also had experience with your support staff on a very esoteric issue that really wasn't ya'lls issue... they replied in 3 minutes(!) and without telling me I was a dumb-ass... pointed me right to the solution! Awsome!"

"Migrating from a different web host service to winhost.com was straightforward. I use BlogEngine.Net and ScrewTurn wiki, and they both migrated without issue. I didn't even need to adjust directory permissions. My Ajax controls came right up without any issues. Email switch over was simple. All I had to do was create a couple of email accounts and my domain was up and running. Performance so far has been excellent. We look forward to a long relationship with winhost.com. The pre-sales support really sold me on their service."

"It was very easy to get started. They give you an IIS 7 website and SQL Server 2008 database that you can connect to using IIS manager and SQL Server Management Studio. Any ASP.NET developer with these two features can pretty much do anything they want. Their web based interfaces for managing your website is also easy to use and fast. For $5 a month, it can't get any easier than this.."

The level of flexibility that your service offers (as with regards to the ASP.NET platform) is outstanding!!! Truth! "Just signed up for WinHost. Within a few minutes I was able to setup my website, point IIS7 Manager at it, and get it running. I had tried doing this with another hosting provider (Mochahost) and it was unbelievably hard. I had to wait nearly a week because of all my support tickets and they still couldn't get their act together. I couldn't even run the ASP.Net version of "Hello World!" without needing their tech support. With WinHost it was a breeze. I just set up my account, published my site from within Visual Studio to the FTP server, and wham, it's up there and
running! And I can manage it with IIS7 Manager which is awesome. Good job guys. You've certainly made my day."

"I tried to sign up with one of biggest web host in the UK and supposed "number one web host" (1and1.co.uk) and after one or two days their system was so complex and restricted (I professionally deal with various systems both online and offline and and their own control panel was unnecessarily long winded). I came across WinHost and decided to give them a shot within less than an hour I had the website and databases set up, with so much ease. Will definitely be recommending to others. 10 out of 10"

"I would like to personally congratulate Winhost.com on a great product! I am so happy that I clicked on the link that brought me to their site. My Old hosting company who I will not mention told me they supported current .NET technology but what they did was say what they had to to make the sale. So This morning I cancelled my subscription and went looking for a new hosting company. So, there it was on a site that i was looking for silverlight examples a link to winhost.com. So I went and i couldn't believe what I was reading the prices were unbeatable so I signed up. I sent them emails and was answered promptly. I transferd my name servers and and my web mail, web site, and ftp was set up instantaneously. When I had a configuration question I opened a ticket and had a response within 5 minutes.
This has got to be one of my best custmer expericences I have ever had. So in closing I would say Out of 5 Statrs Winhost gets 5 Stars"

"I just wanted to say "wow!" I have been utilizing DNN for about five years and four of those years I had client sites hosted with a provider who "specializes" in DNN hosting. Needless to say, the continued issues I had with the other hosting provider were absurd. The issues all led back to the fact they overloaded their servers with too many sites. So as my business grew, I decided to go with a dedicated server that I still run today. It was so nice to have DNN sites that loaded immediately and were performing at optimal speeds. Knock on wood my business continues to grow. And I am now faced with more website development work for clients so I need to utilize multiple servers on multiple networks. I decided to give WinHost a try and I'm back to "wow!" I have just deployed a Philadelphia divorce lawyer blog website here. Although further development still needs to be on the site, my primary concern was performance, e.g., is the site going to take 30 seconds to load the first time? Well the answer to that is "no." I would say the performance of the site on WinHost is almost equal to the performances I receive on websites I run on my dedicated server. Kudos to you...kudos! I will definitely look to bring more sites over here. "

"I switched an hour ago and I Love you guys already. Seriously.
I was hosted with 3essentials starting in May. By November I've submitted over 50 support tickets to them and had a 2 hour conversation with their customer support manager in regards to me getting randomly blacklisted by their overzealous FTP server because Visual Studio did a web crawl of my web directory.
I switched to you guys because I was getting web server errors using default Microsoft asp.net profile controls, and after 2 weeks of "reviewing" the problem, they could see nothing wrong and suggested I ask the ASP.NET community. I uploaded the same files to you guys, created the tables and it works just fine. Major frustration removed.
I love how I don't need to VPN to get to your SQL server database, and I don't need to submit a support request to get membership and roles setup, either. Your admin panel is also pretty sweet.
Kudos guys.

"I can honestly say I was suprised, I recently converted my site from PHP to .NET using asp.net 3.5, ajax and sql server 2008, with quite a few custom user controls. I was apprehensive of how long it would take to get everything up and running; however I was suprised that within an hour or so after copying files and transfering the data everything worked the first time and setup was hassle free.

"Just signed up a couple of days ago and I have to say, I'm tickled pink! Errr...not that I'm actually pink or anything....never mind Anyways, I'm just a wannabe web geek and I've used *nix hosting for years because...well, just because that's what was affordable and I learned how to work with it over the years. Windows hosting was too pricey and it looked really complicated. I ran across an ad for WinHost doing a search for Windows hosting just for the heck of it. I figured I could afford those prices and it was about time I learned how MS hosting works. Well, I'm hooked. The service is great. I was very confused at first on how Windows hosting worked, but after one support ticket (very quickly answered), I got it figured out easily! All I had to do was look through a few knowledge base articles and read a few forum posts. Man o man, there is a WEALTH of information in those 2 resources! I had no idea how much help was available. I also had no idea how much free software MS has out there. I never would have found it if it weren't for the posts from the staff in the forums. This is some great free software! Very well written and not that hard to use. For all the abuse MS gets, they make way better products and freebies than I ever thought.
To close, if you're looking for an affordable Windows hosting service, look no further, this IS the one!

"Just Switched - Excellent SP1 Support! Thank you so much for providing this service. I was hosting with what I thought was a premier company, GoDaddy, but they refuse to budge when it comes to WCF services. After spending almost a week in my spare time to learn this stuff I almost had a working service. The only thing lacking was a small concession to give me more control over my hosting environment - allow me to change my authentication in order to properly host a WCF service without having to resort to a bunch of custom programming. It was bad enough I spent the 5 days I did on it to get as far as I did. I signed up for your service last night. I dropped my .svc file (along with supporting files) into a newly created application directory. Navigated to my .svc file, and sweet success finally!
